Wake Forest Parks and Recreation offers open play for Pickleball at the Joyner Community Center. There are three temporary nets set up on the multipurpose wooden floors. Residents play for free and visitors may participate for a nominal fee.
Today, the sport has grown to include three indoor courts at Flaherty Park Community Center, four dedicated outdoor courts at Flaherty Park, and three indoor courts at Joyner Park Community Center.
Pickleball is currently reservation only due to COVID Restrictions but soon will be drop in. Residents play for free and visitors pay a nominal fee (currently $5).
